Job summary

Cardiff Council invites an Enforcement Planner in Development Management to join a busy, varied caseload with a focus on enforcement and compliance. The role offers hybrid working with County Hall base and flexibility to work from home as part of a supportive team.

You will typically manage planning enforcement cases, contribute to city-wide outcomes and work with colleagues across planning, building control and legal teams to secure development compliance. The post is full-time permanent.

You will manage a busy and varied caseload of cases and applications, with a particular emphasis on enforcement and compliance, where your contribution can add significant value across the city.

The main office base for the job is County Hall, a short walk from the beautiful Cardiff Bay, however we have embraced the benefits of hybrid home-office working. You will also be given the necessary management and team support, flexible working, peer review and skill sharing to enable you to successfully undertake your role and develop professionally.
