Severn Trent Plc is seeking an Energy Technician on a 12-month fixed-term contract in the West Midlands. You will optimise energy usage, monitor consumption, and support cost reduction across operational sites. The role requires experience with energy data analysis, electrical familiarity, and IT tools.

You will work across teams to implement energy-saving measures, contribute to energy performance reporting, and help shape site energy plans while holding a UK driving licence. Travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in energy management or utilities operations.
• Ability to analyse energy consumption data and present insights.
• Strong numeric and communication skills to influence plans.

Responsabilités

• Analyse and monitor energy consumption data for large sites and coordinate with staff to address issues.
• Regularly report energy performance and participate in energy reviews.
• Influence capital and maintenance plans using energy insights; maintain Energy SOP and Site Energy Management Plans.
• Support Customer Operations in using energy flexibly to adapt to tariff or grid balancing schemes.
