Job summary

Severn Trent is seeking a Network Optimisation Support Technician in Malvern. You’ll support the wastewater network through field-based monitoring, asset surveys and investigations, installing and maintaining pressure monitoring equipment across assets, and contributing to network optimisation programmes.

You’ll work with data, carry out surveys, ensure data quality, and share findings to inform operational and investment decisions.

Qualifications

• You’ll be able to interpret information and draw practical insights.
• Experience in an operational, technical or field-based environment is helpful but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and manage pressure monitoring equipment across wastewater assets.
• Support deployment, maintenance and recovery of temporary flow monitoring equipment.
• Carry out field surveys, inspections and investigations to assess asset performance and identify issues.
• Collect, validate and update asset information to improve data quality.
• Support Rising Main investigations to enhance asset understanding.
• Work safely across operational sites and comply with health, safety and company standards.
