Job summary

Equans UK & Ireland is seeking a Business Development Manager for the Energy Solutions division in London. You will own client relationships, lead bids, coordinate cross-functional teams, and drive proposals from pre-qualification to contract signature.

The role requires strong commercial acumen, stakeholder engagement at C-suite level, and experience with Salesforce. You will collaborate with internal teams and external partners, shape marketing collateral, and help steer projects toward

Qualifications

• Experience in business development or solution management in energy, engineering, or sustainability sectors.

Responsibilities

• Find, own and maintain customer relationships across private and public sectors and support deployment of energy solutions across segments.
• Lead bid management for opportunities, coordinating Design, Procurement, Legal and Cost Estimation inputs.
• Produce external material and high quality proposals exceeding customer expectations.
• Manage customer relationships until EPC contract signature and ensure project alignment for EPC delivery.
• Support negotiation of PCSA’s and EPC contracts with legal/commercial colleagues.
• Govern project governance and align with Equans’ golden rules.
• Produce marketing collateral and lead thought leadership pieces and social media campaigns.
