Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our Energy Division, focusing on building services and energy projects, including HV infrastructure and district heating. Project values range from £50,000 to £20 million, with strong opportunities for professional development.

You will manage contracts, valuations, variations, and final accounts, ensuring timely payments, accurate reporting, and effective cost control across projects in the UK.

Qualifications

• Right to work in the UK
• Excellent IT skills, including advanced Excel
• Experience administering Construction Contracts
• Communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Quantity Surveying and commercial experience

Responsibilities

• Ensure contractual obligations are flowed down appropriately in line with scope, price and programme
• Value and interpret contractor applications and quotes
• Submit detailed Applications for Payment in a timely manner
• Identify and detail variations with supporting documentation
• Prepare final accounts and negotiate settlements
• Report on forecast outturn and costs
• Process Subcontract Orders, notifications and payments
• Monitor delays and report to Project Manager/Commercial Director
