Job summary

Mott MacDonald is seeking a Project Planner to join the Energy Networks team in the UK. The role focuses on developing and maintaining project schedules, coordinating with line managers, and ensuring alignment with scheduling policies.

The candidate will use Primavera P6 and MS Project among other tools. It is a permanent role within the Energy unit, offering hybrid working arrangements and opportunities to contribute to energy transition projects across the UK.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience in scoping and creating project schedules.
• Experience in scheduling functions: schedule development, control, critical path and data analysis.
• Degree and certification in engineering, finance or related field.

Responsibilities

• Independently execute duties under supervision of Line Manager.
• Record keeping of documentation and results achieved.
• Familiar with project execution procedures and subcontractor nomination.
• Inform Line Manager of issues and measures taken.
• Propose solutions in coordination with Line Manager.
• Use Deltek/Primavera and MS Project tools for scheduling.
