Job summary

SP Energy Networks, part of ScottishPower, is seeking a Senior Planner to lead the development and maintenance of complex project schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Project. You will partner with environmental, engineering and planning teams to deliver schedules for high-value Transmission Core Projects.

The role blends office and site work in a hybrid pattern (3 days on site, 2 days remote) with a competitive salary and strong pension benefits. Closing date 25 September 2026.

Qualifications

• Experience creating and maintaining Primavera P6 schedules.
• Experience with MS Project and MS Office tools.
• Background in Engineering or Construction projects.
• Strong communication and report writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project schedules for SP Transmission Core Projects.
• Interface with Project Team to resolve scoping issues and ensure environmental, planning, and engineering requirements are met.
• Provide monthly schedule updates, KPIs and programme views to support decision making.
• Support continuous improvement and participate in meetings as required.
