Job summary

SP Energy Networks is seeking a Senior Planner in Glasgow/Cambuslang to lead the development and maintenance of complex project schedules for Transmission Core Projects. You will generate Primavera P6 schedules, manage changes, and report progress to the Project Team.

The role requires strong planning, communication and familiarity with engineering/delivery environments. Hybrid working with office/site presence three days a week and two days remote is offered, with a competitive package and

Qualifications

• HNC or equivalent in engineering/mathematics or scheduling experience.
• Experience developing and maintaining project schedules for complex infrastructure.
• Knowledge of Primavera P6 and MS Project scheduling software.
• Strong communication and reporting skills using MS Office.
• Ability to work on multi-disciplinary project teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SP Transmission Core Project schedules, monthly updates.
• Interface with Project Team to address scope and planning issues.
• Provide KPI reports, schedule views and progress to support decision making.
• Ensure alignment with QA processes and risk management.
• Attend internal/external meetings to advise on planning and performance.
