Job summary

Turner & Townsend seeks an experienced Principal contracting & procurement manager to lead contracting and procurement strategies for major energy transition projects, delivering value and managing risk across offshore and onshore sites.

You will provide commercial leadership, manage end-to-end procurement activities, mentor colleagues, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimise contracts and supplier performance.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in contracting, procurement, commercial, or supply chain management within energy, infrastructure, oil & gas, renewables, or energy transition sectors.
• Proven track record of developing and delivering contracting and procurement strategies for major capital projects.
• Experience managing high-value contracts from tendering to close-out.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of contracting and procurement strategies.
• Act as commercial and contractual SME, advising on procurement approaches and contract models.
• Manage end-to-end procurement activities: sourcing, tendering, negotiation, evaluation and award.
• Draft, negotiate, and administer high-value contracts with risk management.
• Lead contract management: variations, claims, disputes, and change control.
• Monitor contractor & supplier performance to ensure compliance and delivery.
• Identify and manage commercial and supply chain risks while driving value.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, contractors, suppliers, and partners.
