Job summary

Turner & Townsend in the United Kingdom seeks a Senior Contract Manager to join our Procurement & Commercial team, driving procurement strategies and managing major contracts across the project lifecycle. You will help shape procurement plans for significant capital work and ensure value, risk control, and governance are embedded throughout.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience in procurement, commercial or contract management across major projects.
• Knowledge of onshore/offshore energy and infrastructure contracting models.
• Experience managing full contract lifecycle from tender to close-out.
• Strong negotiation and supplier performance management skills.
• Understanding of NEC, FIDIC, LOGIC or equivalent contracts.
• Ability to manage budgets, cost forecasting and governance reporting.
• Stakeholder engagement across internal teams and external partners.
• MCIPS qualification is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop procurement and contracting strategies aligned with project goals.
• Lead end-to-end contract lifecycle activities including tenders, awards, and admin.
• Prepare ITTs, tender docs, and commercial evaluation criteria.
• Evaluate supplier proposals and manage performance.
• Negotiate terms and administer contract changes and claims.
• Identify risks and drive value improvement and cost optimisation.
• Maintain governance compliance and reporting to stakeholders.
