Job summary

prosource.it is seeking a diligent Business Analyst to join its energy and OT-enabled technology team in Glasgow, with occasional travel to Perth and Aberdeen. You will translate business needs into clear IT requirements, work with architects, SI partners and stakeholders across IT and operations to shape reliable, safe and efficient energy solutions.

This role rewards strong stakeholder management, structured problem solving and experience across Agile and Waterfall delivery.

Qualifications

• Strong experience as a Business Analyst in complex IT environments.
• Experience mapping application landscapes and data flows across enterprise environments.
• Experience reviewing and validating solution designs with architects, SI partners and stakeholders.
• Proven ability to run workshops and requirements sessions.
• Exposure to Agile and Waterfall delivery models.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with business stakeholders to understand goals, challenges and drivers.
• Analyse and document application, system and data flows, identifying dependencies and integration points.
• Review solution designs with internal technical teams, OT stakeholders and SI partners.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and engagement forums for alignment.
• Translate business needs into IT requirements, user stories and BRDs.
• Support the delivery of technology solutions aligned with regulatory and strategic requirements.
• Produce customer journeys, process maps and impact assessments for services.
• Coordinate solution delivery across internal teams, delivery partners and stakeholders.
• Work with architects and engineers to understand system interactions and design impacts across IT/OT environments.
• Support OT and enterprise IT initiatives across critical infrastructure.
• Operate autonomously within established frameworks and pursue continuous improvement.
