Job summary

Linear Recruitment is seeking a Planner to support the delivery of engineering and maintenance activities at a major gas terminal in north east Scotland. The role will plan, schedule and coordinate PPM and reactive works to ensure timely delivery and SLA compliance.

You will work closely with Operations, Engineering and subcontractors, maintaining accurate planning records in CAFM/CMMS systems. Hybrid working is available with 4 days in the office and 1 day from home.

Qualifications

• Experience planning, scheduling or coordinating engineering or field teams.
• Background in maintenance, utilities, energy or infrastructure.
• Experience with PPM and reactive works.
• Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
• Proficient with Excel and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule PPM and reactive maintenance activities.
• Coordinate engineer workloads, resources, site access, materials and spares.
• Produce forward plans and engineer schedules to maximise productivity.
• Monitor SLAs and identify, escape and mitigate at-risk or delayed works.
• Work closely with Operations, Engineering, Compliance and subcontractor teams.
• Coordinate internal outages and changing operational requirements.
• Maintain accurate job records and planning information within CAFM / asset management systems.
• Support subcontracting decisions, purchase orders and resource planning.
• Identify opportunities to improve planning efficiency and reduce delays.
