Job summary

Linear Recruitment is seeking a Planner to support the delivery of engineering and maintenance activities at a major gas terminal in north east Scotland. The role will plan, schedule and coordinate PPM and reactive works to ensure timely delivery and SLA compliance.

You will work closely with Operations, Engineering and subcontractors, maintaining accurate planning records in CAFM/CMMS systems. Hybrid working is available with 4 days in the office and 1 day from home.

Qualifications

• Experience planning, scheduling or coordinating engineering or field teams.
• Background in maintenance, utilities, energy or infrastructure.
• Experience with PPM and reactive works.
• Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
• Proficient with Excel and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

A leading infrastructure and engineering business is looking to appoint a Planner to support the delivery of engineering and maintenance activities at a major gas terminal in north east Scotland.

The role will support the planning and coordination of planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive works and engineering activities, ensuring resources are effectively scheduled and works are delivered within agreed timescales and SLAs.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule PPM and reactive maintenance activities
• Coordinate engineer workloads, resources, site access, materials and spares
• Produce forward plans and engineer schedules to maximise productivity

About You

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• Previous experience inplanning, scheduling or coordination
• Experience planning work for engineers, technicians or field-based teams
• A background in engineering, maintenance, utilities, energy, infrastructure or facilities management
• Experience managing PPM and reactive works
• Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
• Good Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, skills
• Experience using CAFM, CMMS or asset management systems
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage competing priorities

Experience within gas, energy, utilities, industrial maintenance or critical infrastructure would be advantageous.
