Job summary

AWS EMEA SARL (UK Branch) is hiring Senior Solutions Architects to help UK energy and industrial customers modernise technology estates and leverage data and AI for business transformation. You will partner with account teams, professional services, AI/ML specialists, and partners to deliver cloud adoption and best-practice architectures.

Senior Architects build broad, well-architected solutions across compute, networking, storage, security, and DevOps, with depth in data and AI and strong

Qualifications

• Experience in IT development or consulting in software or internet industries.
• Experience in cloud computing, data & analytics.
• Ability to communicate across technical and non-technical audiences, including executives.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to accelerate projects and recommend best-practice architectures across infrastructure, applications, data, and AI/ML.
• Own the technical relationship with customers and act as trusted advisor.
• Design solutions across AWS services with deep focus on data and AI workloads when needed.
• Share the voice of the customer to influence AWS feature roadmaps.
• Create and capture best practices, technical content, and reference architectures (white papers, code samples, blogs).
• Educate customers about AWS technology through workshops, events, and conferences.
• Contribute to the growth of the Solutions Architecture organisation by hiring and mentoring.
• Develop depth in data and AI domains aligned to customer outcomes.
