Job summary

Marsh is seeking an experienced insurance professional for a Broker Support/Account Manager role based in Norwich on a hybrid basis, with a requirement to travel to London to build relationships with Brokers and colleagues. Training opportunities will be provided within a busy team of Insurance Professionals specialising in Natural Resources risks for major clients worldwide.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' Insurance experience, ideally within Energy/Property/Power, but other disciplines will be considered.
• Organisational skills and ability to manage and prioritise your own workload
• A keen attention to detail and accuracy
• A high level of communication skills, essential for establishing good working relationships
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

Responsibilities

• Prompt and monitor key activities and tasks throughout the Reinsurance placement in order to promote efficient and timely compliance with our best practice processes
• Build a strong relationship by engaging with both internal and external stakeholders, to deliver excellent and efficient service to our clients
• Assist with reviews of client renewal information
• Initiate the contract drafting process, updates and production of Final Contract Documentation
• Assist Brokers and prepare submissions, where required
• Track placement status of assigned accounts and update information as necessary
• Respond to client requests for information (reinsurer, financial reports, industry issues, etc.)
• On boarding of new clients and markets
• Access front-end broking systems and monitor and report on business metrics

We are looking for an experienced insurance individual to join us in a Broker Support/Account Manager capacity, working for a busy team of Insurance Professionals, specialising in Natural Resources risks for major clients across the world.

What to expect:

• The nature of the role has some flexibility and whilst experience within Energy reinsurance is desirable, an experienced insurance candidate with an awareness and understanding of London Insurance Market principles would also be considered and provided with training opportunities.
• While experience working in insurance wholesale business is also advantageous, we are willing to consider candidates from other insurance backgrounds looking to join a leading broker in a technical support role.
• This role will be based in Norwich on a hybrid basis, with a requirement to travel into London on one of those days, in order to forge relationships with Brokers & colleagues. Please note, travel expenses will be covered for this.

We will count on you to:
