Job summary

Socomec is seeking an Energy Efficiency Sales Engineer to develop its Energy Efficiency business in the UK, partnering with consultants, end‑users, system integrators and internal sales teams.

You will lead energy audits, deliver CPD-accredited sessions, prepare tenders, and drive adoption of energy efficiency solutions across key market segments while actively contributing to product development.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in technical solution sales (ideally in energy/ metering)
• Strong understanding of electrical networks (LV), industrial automation, and IT environments
• Background in electrical, electronic, or software engineering

Responsibilities

• Achieve specification of Socomec energy-efficiency systems with consultants and end users
• Deliver CPD-accredited lunch & learn sessions and customer events
• Prepare tenders and quotations based on technical specifications, schematics, or site visits
• Manage and develop the System Integrator Programme in the UK
• Support regional sales engineers with expert knowledge on energy efficiency solutions
• Contribute to product development through customer feedback and pricing insight
• Lead customer audits to demonstrate financial benefits of granular energy monitoring
