Job summary

Shell Energy Europe & Environmental Products seeks a Data Scientist to build and productionise time series forecasting and optimisation models for trading decisions. You will develop, validate and deploy models in a cloud environment (Azure/AWS), working closely with domain experts to translate market dynamics into robust mathematical formulations.

Qualifications

• Graduate qualification in an analytical discipline; PhD preferred.
• Experience with querying, aggregation, analysis and visualization.
• Strong Python data science stack and SQL skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, process, and visualize power, gas, and weather data.
• Develop forecasts for demand, wind, solar and prices.
• Statistical evaluation of forecast methods.
• Deploy production-ready models in cloud environments.
