Job summary

EDF Trading in London seeks an experienced Energy Market Analyst (Power Analytics) to extend time-series forecasting models for meteo-to-power, improve forecast accuracy, and support trading decisions with robust price signals.

You will work within the Energy Market Analytics team, applying ML methods, developing features, automating models, and building dashboards while collaborating with traders and data teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in ML/DS with strong academic record.
• Experience building production-grade models (MLOps).
• Strong Python coding and data handling skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop time-series forecasting models for meteo-to-power forecasts (wind/solar).
• Enhance models with new features as renewables grow.
• Ensure forecasts are delivered to traders accurately and timely.
• Support data feeds, dashboards, and modelling guidance for stakeholders.
