Job summary

Pho Restaurants in Edinburgh is seeking a hands-on Sous Chef to join our busy Pho kitchen on Lothian Road. You will support the Head Chef, mentor wok, lines and salad chefs, and help run the kitchen efficiently in a vibrant environment.

The role requires experience as Second in command with a passion for fresh, flavoursome food and strong knowledge of food safety. Excellent team spirit and hands-on leadership are a must.

Qualifications

• Hands on chefs who are passionate about cooking fresh, vibrant and flavoursome food.
• Second Chef or Sous Chef with minimum 1 year in role.
• Experience being second in command in a kitchen. Assisting Head Chef with managerial duties and mentoring wok, lines and salad chefs.
• Strong knowledge in food safety and managing compliance within health and safety regulations

Responsibilities

• Assist Head Chef with managerial duties and mentor wok/lines/salad chefs.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food safety standards.
• Maintain kitchen organisation and support all sections as required
