Job summary

Pho Edinburgh on Lothian Road is seeking a hands-on Sous Chef to join our busy Pho restaurant. You’ll be second in command, supporting the Head Chef and mentoring wok, line, and salad stations.

The role offers a base salary of £34,700 plus tronc, with a total package up to £40,000, and a range of staff benefits including free meals, staff discounts, paid wages every two weeks, and industry training.

Qualifications

• Hands-on chefs who are passionate about cooking fresh, vibrant and flavoursome food.
• Second Chef or Sous Chef with minimum 1 year in role.
• Experience being second in command in a kitchen and mentoring teams.
• Strong knowledge in food safety and health & safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Support Head Chef with daily kitchen operations and planning.
• Mentor wok, lines and salad chefs to maintain standards.
• Ensure adherence to food safety and regulatory requirements.
