Job summary

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) Endoscopy Unit is seeking two Registered Nurses for permanent part-time roles (22.5 hours). You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate endoscopy patient care, while maintaining high standards and supporting a multidisciplinary team.

Autonomous practice with a focus on safe, evidence-based care, plus opportunities for teaching, audits, and professional development within NHSGGC. Flexible working and comprehensive NHS benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
• Knowledge of Endoscopy, Gastroenterology and/or General Surgery desirable.
• Ability to work autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team.
• Endoscopy-specific training will be provided if needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist patient care across the endoscopy pathway.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualised care plans.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and safe equipment.
• Supervise and support junior staff and contribute to teaching.
• Support audit, service improvement and policy development.
