Job summary

LivingCare Group (Fountain Diagnostic) is seeking an enthusiastic Registered Nurse to support the Endoscopy and Outpatients department, aiding the clinical team in delivering high-quality patient care.

The role requires NMC/HCPC registration, strong communication, endoscopy knowledge, and the ability to work with SystmOne. Cross-site collaboration and ongoing professional development are encouraged.

Qualifications

• NMC registered nurse or HCPC registered ODP.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.
• Knowledge of working within endoscopy unit.
• Basic IT skills and ability to work with online programmes such as SystmOne.
• Evidence of Continued Professional Development.
• Access to own transportation to support cross site working.

Responsibilities

• Help promote and maintain an environment conducive to meeting the needs of the patient/relatives and carers.
• Support the endoscopy team with decontamination of scopes.
• Support with auditing and stock checks and management as required.
• Set up of the room and preparation of all clinical areas in line with service requirements.
• Contribute to a team approach to patient care with all team members.
• Contribute to the legality and accuracy of the patient’s care plan and other reports and the effectiveness of the communication/reporting system.
• Attend regular meetings and other requested meetings.
• Undertake tasks and procedures as assessed and recorded for the care environment.

Job summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team. The role will consist of supporting the clinical team in delivering outstanding patient care in the Endoscopy and Outpatients department.

Main duties of the job

The main duties of the role will be to support registered staff in the implementation of an agreed plan of care with the patient and in accordance with instructions and training received per local and national policies and guidelines including JAG.

Job responsibilities
