Endoscopy HCA: Weekend Theatre & Suite Support

Xyla is supporting Portsmouth NHS Trust with an Endoscopy backlog project and seeks experienced HCAs to provide patient care across the service. Weekend shifts will be required initially, with weekdays possibly added later; work will occur in Endoscopy suites on weekends and theatres on weekdays.

Role involves admitting patients, supporting dignity, assisting with positioning, transporting between areas, and aiding recovery with basic care. No travel or accommodation provided.

Qualifications

• Must have experience working within an Endoscopy unit.

Responsabilités

• Admit and prepare patients including observations and paperwork.
• Chaperone patients and support dignity and comfort.
• Assist with patient positioning for procedures.
• Clean trolleys and prepare rooms between cases.
• Transport patients to and from procedure, ward and recovery areas.
• Assist in recovery with basic care and refreshments.
• Maintain stock levels and ensure clinical areas are prepared.
• Weekend shifts initially; weekdays may follow.
