18 Week Support Limited is seeking motivated Endoscopy Healthcare Assistants to support our Endoscopy services across Hampshire. You will assist with pre-, intra-, and post-procedure patient care, working closely with nurses and endoscopists to ensure safety and comfort.

The role requires a minimum of 6 months Endoscopy HCA experience, NHS familiarity, and strong communication skills. Local Hampshire candidates are preferred, with a flexible, team-oriented approach to service delivery.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 6 months experience as Endoscopy HCA (within last 12 months).
• NHS experience is essential.
• Local candidates within 50 miles of Hampshire preferred.
• Strong understanding of endoscopy environments and patient pathways.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, professional and committed to safe, effective patient care.
• Flexible and adaptable approach to service requirements.

Aufgaben

• Support patients throughout their endoscopy journey, ensuring comfort and dignity at all times.
• Assist Nurses and Endoscopists during endoscopic procedures including gastroscopy, colonoscopy, bronchoscopy, and ERCP.
• Prepare clinical areas, equipment, and stock in line with infection prevention and control standards.
• Undertake patient observations and provide general patient care within the unit.
• Ensure accurate documentation and maintain high standards of patient safety.
• Work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team to deliver an efficient and patient-focused service.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised clinical environment.
