Job summary

George Eliot Hospital NHS Trust in Nuneaton is recruiting a Decontamination Technician (Band 3) to join our Endoscopy Decontamination room. You will decontaminate endoscopes in a fast-paced unit, following IPC and JAG guidelines, and maintain accurate documentation and traceability.

The post is permanent, 37.5 hours per week, with a salary of £25,760–£27,476 per year. We value teamwork and patient safety, and offer an supportive environment with ongoing training and development.

Qualifications

• Decontamination of endoscopes in accordance with IPC and JAG guidelines.
• Accurate completion of daily/weekly logbooks and traceability of scopes.

Responsibilities

• Working in the Endoscopy Decontamination room to decontaminate endoscopes.
• Liaise with internal and external authorised persons and maintain paperwork.
