Olympus is seeking a Line Technician in the United Kingdom to repair endoscopes following established processes and procedures. You will disassemble, refurbish, repair, assemble and test components while adhering to safety guidelines and documentation requirements.

You will ensure quality throughout the repair, maintain records, and use calibrated tooling and test equipment. A collaborative team environment and flexible approach are required to meet productivity and quality targets.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a technical role, or fine hand skills; training provided.
• Ability to read and understand method sheets with technical instructions.
• Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Self-motivated and organized.
• Good computer literacy, including email and data entry.
• You are a natural team player with flexible approach.

Responsabilités

• Repair Olympus endoscopes following approved processes.
• Disassemble, refurbish, repair, assemble, and test components.
• Follow method sheets and repair manuals and other relevant procedures.
• Adhere to Health and Safety requirements per risk assessment.
• Ensure product quality and meet target inspection standards.
• Record repair times and process data in service systems.
• Apply FIFO on the shop floor for repairs.
