Job summary

Halfords is seeking an End User Device Lead to own a large, multi-site device estate and drive standardisation across the organisation. You will manage devices from deployment through retirement, develop modernisation roadmaps and ensure strong governance and security across laptops, mobiles and retail systems.

The role blends hands-on technical leadership with stakeholder engagement, demanding risk-based decision making and collaboration with Security, Procurement and external partners.

Qualifications

• Experience managing large, multi-site device estates across diverse OS and device types.
• Proven ability to standardise fragmented environments through governance and policy.
• Strong understanding of device security, patching and endpoint protection.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end lifecycle for devices across the estate from deployment to retirement.
• Lead stabilisation and standardisation of devices including laptops and mobile devices.
• Develop and own the roadmap for estate modernisation and governance.
• Manage technology suppliers and external service providers for ongoing service quality.
