Job summary

Halfords Group PLC is seeking an End User Device Lead to own and modernise a large, multi-site device estate, spanning stores, centres and field teams. You will standardise, secure and govern devices while shaping the future strategy with stakeholders.

The role combines hands-on technical leadership with cross‑functional influence. Expect hybrid working with 3 days on-site at Redditch, and a market-competitive package including a car allowance and bonus potential.

Qualifications

• Experience leading large, multi-site device estates.
• Proven ability to standardise fragmented environments.
• Strong understanding of device security, patching and compliance.
• Experience managing third‑party suppliers or service providers.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end lifecycle for devices across the estate, from deployment to retirement.
• Lead stabilisation, rationalisation and standardisation of diverse devices.
• Own and develop Intune and Autopilot platforms for modern management.
• Define device standards, policies and governance frameworks.
• Build and deliver a roadmap for estate modernisation and investment decisions.
• Manage technology suppliers and service providers for delivery.
• Use data to identify risks and inform decisions.
