Job summary

Halfords Careers in Redditch seeks an End User Device Lead to own a large, diverse device estate across stores, support centres and field teams. You will standardise management, define standards and drive a modern, secure device strategy.

You will partner with Infrastructure, Security and Procurement to deliver governance, improved security and service quality while shaping the roadmap for future estate modernisation. Hybrid role, 3 days at Redditch centre.

Qualifications

• Hands-on expertise with modern device management (Intune, Autopilot, Entra ID).
• Experience managing large multi-site device estates across OS and user groups.
• Ability to standardise fragmented environments through governance and controls.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end lifecycle for devices across the estate from deployment to retirement.
• Stabilise and standardise a diverse device estate including laptops, mobile devices and POS systems.
• Develop and own the Microsoft Intune and Autopilot platforms and governance.
• Define device standards, policies and governance for security and supportability.
• Build a roadmap for estate modernisation balancing immediate needs with long-term strategy.
• Manage technology suppliers and outsourced services ensuring quality and continuous improvement.
