Job summary

Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in Ilkeston is seeking a Main area IT Second Line Desktop Engineer (End User Device Support) to join the ICT team. The role focuses on delivering high quality technical support and ensuring excellent customer service for clinicians and staff.

You will work under the EUD Support Manager, contribute to national and local ICT planning, and help drive innovations that improve clinical outcomes and service efficiency.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of MS Windows Office, internet and email applications to expert level.
• Knowledge of the Data Protection Act and data confidentiality.
• Extensive knowledge of clinical and business functions across the local health community.
• Detailed knowledge of Health Informatics across the NHS.
• MDM experience.

Responsibilities

• Support the EUD Support Manager with technical activities across the local health community.
• Ensure ICT issues are addressed through proactive and best practice ICT processes.
• Lead delivery of major customer-focused projects and programmes.
• Collaborate with clinicians and managers to drive technology-enabled improvements in service provision.
