Job summary

Yorkshire in Harrogate is seeking a Recruitment and Onboarding Coordinator to join a friendly People team. You will own the recruitment process from attraction through onboarding, helping attract great talent with a positive introduction to the business.

The role requires at least two years in-house recruitment, plus strong organisation and communication skills. This is a permanent role offering a competitive salary and excellent benefits, with travel between sites as needed.

Qualifications

• At least two years' experience in an in-house recruitment or talent acquisition role.
• Solid understanding of recruitment legislation and best practice.
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Willingness to travel between sites.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment from advertising vacancies through onboarding.
• Write and post engaging job adverts across multiple platforms.
• Screen applications and coordinate interviews.
• Build strong relationships with hiring managers to understand needs and provide updates.
• Communicate with candidates throughout the process, arrange interviews, provide feedback and manage offers.
• Conduct interviews where appropriate.
• Complete pre-employment checks (references, right to work, DBS, medicals, drug & alcohol testing).
• Prepare contracts, offer letters and onboarding documents.
• Coordinate induction programmes for smooth onboarding.
• Represent the business at recruitment events and careers fairs.
