Qualifications

• Previous experience in an Export Operator or Export Coordinator position
• Strong start-to-finish export experience across Ocean or Road Freight
• Good understanding of export documentation and procedures
• Confident communicating with customers, carriers and hauliers

Responsibilities

• Manage export shipments from booking to final delivery
• Coordinate Ocean or European Road Freight movements
• Prepare quotations and secure carrier rates
• Make bookings with shipping lines, carriers, hauliers and overseas agents
• Complete and check export documentation
• Provide customs clearance instructions where required
• Monitor shipments and provide customers with updates
• Liaise with customers, suppliers, agents and internal departments
• Resolve operational issues quickly and professionally
• Ensure files are completed accurately and invoiced correctly
• Maintain a high standard of customer service throughout the shipment process
