Job summary

WR Logistics in the United Kingdom is seeking a Road Freight Operations Coordinator to own the full shipment lifecycle from quotation to delivery. The role is hybrid in nature, combining office-based coordination with two days from home once fully trained.

You will manage import and export road shipments, coordinate groupage, LTL and FTL movements, liaise with subcontractors and customers, monitor shipments and prepare commercial quotations for viable solutions.

Qualifications

• Genuine road freight forwarding experience.
• Experience across imports and exports.
• End-to-end freight forwarding operations experience.

Responsibilities

• Managing import and export road freight shipments from quotation through to delivery.
• Arranging and coordinating groupage, LTL and FTL movements.
• Working with subcontractors and transport partners to secure the right solutions.
• Monitoring shipments and proactively dealing with any issues or delays.
• Liaising with customers, suppliers and internal teams throughout the shipment lifecycle.
• Preparing quotations and identifying commercially viable solutions.
