Job summary

Kraken Works Limited is seeking an experienced Recruitment Delivery professional to own the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for engineering, manufacturing and maritime roles. You will partner with hiring managers to define requirements, plan interviews and build high-quality pre-screened shortlists.

You will source candidates directly via LinkedIn and CV databases, promote vacancies across job boards and networks, and monitor outcomes to improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• Significant, recent experience recruiting within engineering, manufacturing or maritime led environments.
• Experience sourcing, screening and evaluating candidates across multiple role types.
• Direct sourcing using LinkedIn and CV databases.
• Knowledge of UK employment law and recruitment compliance.
• Experience designing or running assessment centres or assessment days.
• Familiarity with Eploy ATS.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the recruitment lifecycle from vacancy approval through to offer and onboarding.
• Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, agree selection methods and provide shortlists.
• Support hiring managers through the selection process, including interview planning, scheduling, scoring and decision making.
• Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies aligned to business needs.
• Source candidates directly using LinkedIn, CV databases, job boards, referrals, social media and professional networks.
• Build internal talent pipelines and increasing direct applications.
• Promote vacancies across job boards, social platforms, career sites and industry networks.
• Use recruitment data and insights to improve hiring outcomes, efficiency and candidate quality.
• Monitor recruitment costs and contribute to a sustainable recruitment budget.
