Job summary

Dunelm is seeking a Process Improvement Lead to optimise end-to-end value streams, reduce costs and boost productivity across the business. You will identify opportunities, collaborate with cross-functional teams and embed system thinking to deliver sustainable change.

This hybrid role involves 3 days in the office or on-site, focusing on practical tools like Lean and value stream mapping to improve performance for customers and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated application of system thinking in a business context (interdependencies, flow optimisation, root cause analysis)
• Experience working across functions in a fast-paced environment
• Strong stakeholder skills, with the ability to both support and challenge
• Practical use of continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, value stream mapping)

Responsibilities

• Identify, prioritise and build value cases for process improvements delivering measurable business and customer value
• Translate complex processes into practical improvement opportunities with crossfunctional stakeholders
• Analyse existing processes to identify inefficiencies and optimise value streams
• Remove complexity, duplication and non-value adding activities to improve flow and control
• Drive process simplification, standardisation and efficiency improvements across teams
• Lead cross-functional process transformation initiatives from idea to implementation
• Define metrics to track end-to-end performance and ensure sustained benefits
