Job summary

DP World is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our team in Hinckley, responsible for end-to-end payroll, deductions, pensions, RTI and year-end processes. You will maintain payroll records, support audits and provide guidance on payroll queries while collaborating with HR and finance.

We expect a minimum of two years’ payroll experience, strong UK payroll knowledge, and proficiency with Sage/Xero/ADP/PaySpace. Attention to detail and excellent organisation are essential.

Qualifications

• A-levels or equivalent qualification; relevant payroll certifications are advantageous.
• Minimum two years’ payroll experience in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation, HMRC, NI and pension rules.
• Experience with payroll systems such as Sage, Xero, ADP or PaySpace.

Responsibilities

• Process and reconcile end-to-end payroll for employees, ensuring accurate and timely payments.
• Administer deductions, benefits, pensions and other employee payments per policies.
• Ensure compliance with statutory payroll requirements including HMRC rules.
• Prepare RTI submissions and year-end processes including P60 documentation.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and generate reports for stakeholders.
• Respond to employee payroll queries with clear guidance on deductions and benefits.
• Collaborate with HR to process starters, leavers, salary changes and leave updates.
• Support internal and external audits and payroll-related inquiries.
• Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes and integrations with HR/time systems.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of employee and payroll information.
