Job summary

DK Recruitment seeks an experienced Product Development Engineer to lead from development through to manufacture and ongoing improvement. You will work across design, engineering and production to solve technical problems and enhance product performance, reliability and manufacturability.

Ideal candidates will have electronics or electrical product development experience, with knowledge in analogue/digital electronics, PCB design and DFM.

Qualifications

• A degree or equivalent engineering qualification is preferred, although strong relevant industry experience will also be considered.
• Experience in electronics or electrical product development is advantageous.
• Experience in analogue/digital electronics, PCB design, hardware/software integration, testing or DFM is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Developing and improving new and existing products.
• Designing and integrating electronic hardware and systems.
• Supporting product testing, verification and validation.
• Investigating technical issues and implementing practical solutions.
• Supporting design for manufacture and continuous improvement.
• Working closely with manufacturing and other engineering teams.
• Contributing to customer-led projects and technical requirements.
• Providing technical input and mentoring to other engineers.
