Digital Appointments, a growing business services group near Telford, is seeking a Billing Specialist to own the end-to-end billing function across its recurring contracts.

The role requires hands-on billing expertise, strong Excel skills, and solid credit control to resolve queries, manage debits, and drive accuracy as the group scales. This brand-new position offers the opportunity to shape billing processes and drive improvements across the organization.

Qualifications

• Strong, hands-on billing experience across recurring or subscription contracts.
• Solid credit control and aged debt experience.
• Clear communication skills to handle disputes with customers and internal teams.
• Methodical and accurate approach with numbers.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end billing cycle across recurring contracts.
• Run, check and release the monthly billing run, including pro-rata charges and mid-contract changes.
• Ensure new contracts, price uplifts and renewals are set up correctly before billing.
• Investigate and resolve billing queries with sales, operations and customers.
• Reconcile billing data with contracts and the finance system.
• Manage direct debit collections and payment runs.
• Handle credit control and aged debt chasing.
• Report on billing accuracy, leakage and aged debt to the finance team.
• Improve billing processes and onboarding acquired businesses.
