A leading company in the Retail sector is seeking qualified assessors for a freelance opportunity lasting 4 months, with the potential for extension or permanent position. As an Assessor, you will conduct end point assessments for apprentices across various levels, requiring strong planning and reporting skills. Flexibility in working days and hours is supported, with a focus on maintaining quality assessment standards.

The day rate for a Level 2 Retail EPA is £200
Level 3 Retail it is £225
Level 4 it is £250
Home based with some travel
Induction and some training given remotely
This role is for Freelance 4 months
Possibility could be extended or become permanent as there is plenty of work
Monday to Friday
Seeking someone who can work 3, 4, or 5 days per week depending on your availability
Working hours are 8.30 am to 5 pm or 9 am to 5 pm, with some flexibility
Located within 100 miles from North West (Manchester/Liverpool), West Midlands (Central Birmingham/Coventry), and London (Central or surrounding areas)
Carrying out end point assessment activities and making decisions for apprenticeship standards for Retail levels 2, 3, or 4.
Must have end point assessing experience for Retail at levels 2, 3, or 4
Conducting assessments online
Carrying out assessments with learners
The appointments will be scheduled for you
Planning meetings with apprentices and employers online
Agreeing on a plan and schedule for each assessment activity within the end point window
Writing reports and assessments
Must be an Assessor qualified – such as TAQA, CAVA, A1, D32/D33
Must have worked in the Retail industry as a Supervisor, Team Leader, or Manager to cover Level 2 and Level 3.
Must have been a Retail store Manager to cover up to Level 4.
Must own equipment, including a laptop and email setup.
Ideally, DBS clearance in place and on the update service.
