Job summary

York House, a registered care home run by the Shaftesbury disability charity, is seeking a Bank Enabling Support Worker to assist residents with daily living in line with their support plans. You will provide support and maintain accurate records, contributing to person-centred care.

The role may involve personal care and medication support, with optional sleep-in sessions paid at £60 per shift. DBS/Access NI checks are required and visa sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS or Access NI check

Responsibilities

• Provide support and encouragement, taking direction from the person supported and their person-centred support plan
• Maintain accurate records while at work, in line with service requirements
• Administer personal care and medication where required
• Cover sleep-in sessions where available
