Job summary

Accor in Worsley, United Kingdom, is seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to join our busy kitchen team. You will manage a section with precision, lead by example and uphold the highest standards of food quality and safety during service.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in professional kitchens, strong culinary techniques, and proven leadership. Level 2 Food Hygiene certification and experience in fast-paced or fine dining environments are highly valued.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of professional kitchen experience, with at least a year in a Chef de Partie or equivalent senior kitchen role
  • Comprehensive knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation methods
  • Proven expertise in food safety and hygiene standards, with relevant certification (e.g., Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate)
  • Strong people management and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities
  • Proficiency in inventory management and cost control
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure whilst maintaining high standards of quality
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working in fine dining, high-volume establishments, or similar professional kitchen environments

  • Maintain strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and health and safety regulations at all times
  • Monitor inventory levels within your section, updating chef with any shortfalls and minimising waste
  • Maintain meticulous organisation of your station, ensuring all equipment is clean, well-maintained, and ready for service
  • Manage time effectively during service, prioritising tasks and maintaining composure under pressure
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of kitchen procedures and practices
  • Communicate effectively with other sections and senior kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operation

Ready for a sizzling career move? You will play a pivotal role in our kitchen working alongside a fantastic team. The food you prepare, cook and serve makes our guests smile and wanting more. We are seeking an experienced and professional Chef de Partie to join our culinary team at our establishment in Worsley, United Kingdom.
