Job summary

Welsh Ambulance Services NHS Trust is offering an exciting opportunity to join the EMS Coordination Centre as a Response Coordinator. The post is based at Llangunnor with an alternating shift pattern, averaging 37.5 hours per week and including out of hours, bank holidays and weekend duties.

Responsibilities include supervising a divisional desk, deploying resources to meet demand, and liaising with hospitals and blue light partners.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in relevant subject or equivalent experience.
• Experience supervising people in a contact centre.
• Awareness of EMSV SOPs and Trust Policies.
• Certified MPDS EMD.
• Commitment to continuing professional development.
• NVQ Level 4 in Call Centre.
• JESIP trained.
• Understanding of change management impact.
• Willingness to work towards Grade 5 RCA training.

Responsibilities

• Supervising a divisional desk and ensuring processes compliance.
• Deploying and allocating resources to meet service demands.
• Ensuring staff take breaks and finish shifts on time.
• Liaising with hospitals and blue light partners.
