Job summary

Thirteen Group is seeking an Empty Homes Service Operative to join our Repairs team across our operational areas. You’ll clean empty properties to ensure they are safe, fresh and ready for new customers, and perform pre-cleans before repairs begin.

You will work with maintenance teams to access properties safely and support efficient handovers, while prioritising high-quality cleaning and flexible travel across locations.

Qualifications

• Has a basic level of education with literacy and numeracy suitable for the role.

Responsibilities

• Carry out thorough cleaning of empty homes after repairs, ensuring safety and readiness for customers.
• Complete pre-cleans to provide safe access before repairs begin.
• Clean rooms, floors, surfaces, fixtures, windows, doors, bathrooms and kitchens to required standards.
• Inspect properties after cleaning and report hazards or barriers.
• Work with empty homes teams to support property handovers.
