Job summary

Together Housing is seeking a part-time Clear & Clean Operative to join the estate services team in Halifax. You will prepare empty homes with clearances, perform final cleans, and undertake garden work as needed to ready properties for occupancy.

You will work two days per week (Thursday 8:00–16:00, Friday 8:00–15:30) in a supportive team, ensuring health and safety standards and excellent resident service. A full UK driving licence and cleaning/caretaking experience are required.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Experience cleaning or caretaking.
• Customer-oriented with flexible hours.
• Good literacy and numeracy for records.

Responsibilities

• Prepare empty homes by clearing, cleaning, and garden work.
• Sort waste and identify items for re-use or recycling.
• Collect deliveries and keep depot clean and accessible.
• Lead and motivate staff, volunteers, trainees, and apprentices to deliver great service.
