Job summary

Teaching Personnel Liverpool & Wirral are seeking experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to support secondary schools across Wirral, including Birkenhead and Wallasey. The role involves one-to-one and small group support and helping students with SEN in mainstream settings.

The position is full-time, long-term with ASAP start. Pay is £95-£110 per day, with ongoing consultant support and opportunities for professional development.

Responsibilities

• Support SEN students in mainstream secondary school settings.
• Provide one-to-one and small group support inside and outside the classroom.
• Assist students with academic, social, and emotional development.
• Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral teams to deliver tailored support strategies.
• Promote positive behaviour and help students engage with learning.
