Job summary

Alongside is the new name for Julian House, providing outreach, accommodation and support to people experiencing social exclusion. In Bath, the Supported Housing Worker will deliver warm, person-centred support and hands-on housing management for residents in designated properties, including those with recent experiences of homelessness.

You will guide clients to move-on within agreed timescales by building trust, co-creating clear support plans, and boosting confidence through tenancy skills

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the support needs of people facing homelessness.
• Experience with people with complex needs or challenging behaviours.
• Ability to work compassionately and practically.

Responsibilities

• Create and deliver personalised support plans and risk assessments.
• Champion safeguarding by following policies and procedures.
• Empower clients with advice, information and services.
• Maintain accurate client records using our system, INFORM.
