Job summary

CareTech UK Ltd is recruiting a Support Worker for our Cheltenham service, supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs. You will deliver person-centred support, assist with daily living skills, and promote independence and wellbeing.

The role requires rota-based hours, including evenings and weekends, with full training provided. We offer a competitive hourly rate of £12.79, DBS paid for, and a range of benefits.

Qualifications

• Willingness to work towards Level 2 in Health and Social Care.
• Ability to work unsociable hours on a rota basis.
• Enhanced DBS required (paid for by CareTech).

Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centred support in line with individual support plans.
• Assist with daily living skills and personal care where required.
• Promote independence, dignity, and wellbeing.
• Support activities, appointments, and community access.
• Maintain accurate records and work effectively as part of a team.
• Work a rota including evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and sleep-ins.
