Job summary

Hollybank Trustees Ltd in Penwortham, Preston, UK is seeking a caring Support Worker to help adults with learning disabilities, autism and additional needs live as independently as possible. You will assist with daily living skills, access the community and participate in social activities, following individual support plans.

Qualifications

• Caring, compassionate and reliable individual.
• Flexible and able to work a range of shifts, including evenings, weekends and sleep-ins.
• Previous experience in social care is desirable but not essential; full training and ongoing support provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support in line with individual support plans.
• Promote independence, dignity and respect at all times.
• Assist with daily living tasks such as cooking, cleaning, shopping and budgeting.
• Help individuals access the community and social activities.
• Maintain accurate daily records and documentation.
• Work collaboratively with families and professionals.
• Follow safeguarding and health & safety procedures.
