Job summary

Hollybank Trust in South Kirkby (WF9) is seeking a Senior Support Worker to lead a small team and oversee daily care for eight adults with profound learning disabilities and complex needs. • Experience in a care setting.
• Willingness to pursue NVQ Level 3 if not held.
• Able to work weekends on a rota.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example and support day-to-day running of the service.
• Coach and mentor a team of Support Workers.
• Promote independence, dignity and choice for adults with complex needs.
• Administer and oversee medication according to policy.
• Organise engaging activities and community experiences.
• Contribute to the development and review of care plans.
• Ensure accurate record keeping and quality standards.
