M&D Care in South Wales is seeking compassionate Support Workers to help adults with learning disabilities live independent, meaningful lives in a residential setting. You will support daily living, promote independence, and help participants engage in hobbies, access the community, and achieve personal goals.

No prior care experience is required; we hire on values and potential and provide full training, paid induction, and funded qualifications.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Flexibility to work weekends and sleep-ins.

Responsibilities

• Supporting people with everyday living activities.
• Promoting independence and life skills.
• Encouraging participation in hobbies and interests.
• Supporting access to community activities and in-home activities.
• Providing emotional support and encouragement; assisting with personal care where required.
• Supporting with medication administration.
• Maintaining accurate records.
• Working closely with families and healthcare professionals.
